Join the San Diego Business Group!

A Different Kind of Networking Group

If you’re interested in joining the San Diego Business Group, first check out the Open Member Categories listing on this page to make sure we have a slot available for you. If we have a slot open for your vocation, feel free to join us for lunch! Your first two meetings are on us. This gives us both a chance to get to know each other and decide if we would be a "good fit".

If you’re planning to attend a SDBG meeting or social event, please RSVP to Jeff Warner at (619) 878-1577 or Chris Wilson at (858) 707-4690. They will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Once you are sure that our group is a good fit for your marketing and networking style, go ahead and fill out our on-line SDBG Membership Application Form below. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have had a chance to review your information. If you have already attended a meeting and picked up a written application form, please return it to any SDBG member.

Membership Application Form

If you're interested in joining the San Diego Business Group, please apply by either submitting this online application form OR by completing a printed application form and returning it to any member. If you decide to visit us at one of our breakfast meetings, you can pick up the printed application form at the sign-in desk. Details of where we meet can be found here.

I, the undersigned, understand and agree to the following Membership Requirements:

  1. Membership is "individual" and not "corporate"
  2. I will attend at least 3 meetings a month and the quarterly Social event, otherwise my membership status is at risk.
  3. I will make my best effort to give a minimum of two valid referrals per month
  4. I will make my best effort to use the goods and services of Fellow members whenever reasonably possible
  5. I must abide by the Group's Code of Ethics and the Rules and Regulations as stated in the By-Laws
  6. I must respect the "No Conflict of Interest" principal
  7. I will promote the group's membership and recruit qualified professionals to join.
  8. I must not belong to another Business Networking group
  9. I must pay my fees and dues in a timely manner
  10. I confirm that my business has all legal status requirements.

Check us out at our next meeting!
We meet every Thursday afternoon for lunch at 1:00pm. During the meeting, one or more of our members give a presentation about their business. That's how we learn to best market each others services to our own clients and friends.

Quarterly Social Events!
Once per quarter we hold a social event in the evening to gather with friends and guests and enjoy conversation, a drink, appetizers and sometimes live music! This social venue affords us the opportunity to grow our relationships and promotes stronger camaraderie in the group.

Participation Rewards
To reward members for helping each other and the group, we have developed a set of "Rewards & Fines." These token enticements help fund our socials and promote camaraderie among members.
